St Hilda's East

St Hilda's East Community Centre on the Boundary Estate is running a year-long project to celebrate the heritage of St Hilda's and the role that the centre has played in local people's lives over the 120 years that it has been here. The team will be:
- collecting oral histories from people who have worked at or used St Hilda's - making a film with the youth club about the history of the centre, with an informational booklet to go with it - building a community archive within the centre, with photos, documents and information about the Boundary Estate and St Hildas, which will be open to the local community and hopefully provide a resource for interested people and local schools. Anyone who would like to be interviewed or to get involved in building the archive should contact anna@sthildas.org.uk, 020 7739 8066. http://sthildaseastmemories.wordpress.com/
